DailyGamer.com is currently looking to round out our core team of writers/contributors, editors and reviewers as we build content for our official launch in 2 Weeks!

About Us: We are an eclectic group of gamers who have been playing games together for years. We are fed up with the status quo that has become the mainstream gaming media and we have set out to bring some much needed change to the gaming industry as a whole. We know that this is an ambitious endeavor as many independents before us have set out to do.  After spending years studying the industry we have found that the only way to fight fire is with ice (as any good gamer would already know). We have designed and developed a custom gaming website that can and will directly compete with the major gaming websites, mostly IGN, Gamespot, Kotaku, and Giant Bomb.

Our Mission: Our mission is to create the most fun, honest, engaging, and informative online gaming environment and in doing so eliminate the advertising dependent business model and the subsequent cloud of influence that it holds over the gaming industry (I know we are not the only ones that have heard of the kickbacks to gaming websites to talk about and give favorable reviews to bad games). We will get rid of the “clickbait” articles that clutter the industry and are solely created to generate revenue from CPM advertising. We will give fair, unbiased, and uncompensated opinions of games and gaming products so that the gaming community can better decide how to spend their hard earned money.

Our Website: We have spent 3.5 years and well over $100k in developing, building, and branding a cutting edge website. We have created something that is unmatched in not only the gaming industry but we have not found anything else quite like it on the web. Along the way we have turned down potential investors and funded this project ourselves so that we would not be beholden to anyone else’s agenda. As there are some revolutionary aspects of our website that we are trying to keep under wraps until we launch we have password locked the website so you wont be able to access it at the moment, if we hire you for our website we will give you access to the website so that you can get familiar with it before the launch).

What We Are Looking For: We are looking for 1 to 2 writers who are strong in SEO and who are self-motivated and extremely passionate about gaming. We are looking for resourceful people who have the know-how and ability to gather raw information and turn it into something that people would want to read. We are not worried about word counts or filling with fluff. We want to publish articles that have merit and ones that the reader will gain actual knowledge about the topic that is being written about.

Why You Would Want To Write For Us: We have built a unique platform that will be wide reaching and will draw the eyes from millions of people all over the world. We have developed a cutting edge reward system for the website that incentivizes users to read and comment on all article types as well as videos and reviews. This will in turn increase the viewing of your written content. You will also have access when available to all the latest pre-release gaming titles and products, and alpha/beta access for purpose of review and personal enjoyment.

What Positions We Are Looking To Fill: Currently we are looking for all positions on the writing staff. Including Content Writers (News/Esports/Tech/Features), Reviewers and Volunteer Contributors.

Compensation: Pay will be per article to start after a trial period.
